Works in current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. Guests can join with a link and no account. End-to-end encryption needs Chrome, Edge, Safari 15.4+ or Firefox 117+.

Version 1.1.0

Native video calls, end-to-end encryption, live translated chat, a low-data mode, deep links and a server address you can change for self-hosted setups.

Tap the APK button on your phone. When Android asks, allow installs from your browser, open the file and tap Install.

Updating from version 1.0.0?

Uninstall the old app first (Settings → Apps → Si-Des Meet → Uninstall), then install this version. It is signed with a new key, so Android cannot update over the old one. Your account and meetings are kept.

Google Play: the project can build an Android App Bundle (AAB) for Play distribution, but we have not announced a Play Store listing yet, so use the APK for now. Organisations can deploy the APK through their MDM.

macOS

Universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, as a DMG or a PKG package. The app is ad-hoc signed, so macOS may ask you to confirm the first time you open it.

To open it anyway: Right-click (or Control-click) the app, choose Open, then click Open in the prompt.

iOS

iOS only allows apps installed through the App Store, so there is no direct download. We plan to publish there later.

Verify your download

Download only from this page or the official releases repository linked here. If a SHA-256 checksum is listed with a release, compare it with your file: run shasum -a 256 <file> on macOS or Linux, or Get-FileHash <file> in PowerShell on Windows. We do not yet publish signed Windows installers or notarised macOS builds, which is why your system may show a warning. Only continue if you downloaded the file from here.

Running your own server?

The Android app asks for a server address and can point to your deployment. The desktop apps open the hosted service. See the documentation for self-hosting.
